Single Mother | Chapter 26: Beggars Can't Be Losers

Sarah approached the bus stop bench, where the homeless man was waiting.

"Well how you doing Ms. Moneymaker. You the queen of making of money", the homeless man complimented.

Sarah chuckled.

"It was only five dollars", she responded while giving a slight smile.

"Bitch please. Regardless of whatever it was, you did what I desired by 5 times the amount I was expecting. That's genuine. You about yo business", he continued to flatter.

Sarah was a little irritated about being a called a bitch again by him, but brushed it off.

"Yeah, well, glad I could help", she said before walking to the bench to sit down.

The second she sat down, is when the homeless man then stood in front of her, with his groin directed at her face.

Sarah tried to look away from his pelvis.

"I'm glad you're glad to help, because I want you to do it again. Make my money baby", he said while smiling his yellow and crooked teeth.

Sarah exhaled a sigh.

"I'm really not interested in doing that again", she said, still looking away from his pelvis.

She couldn't tell if he was leaning in close on purpose.

"Oh come baby, but you're so good at it. Like you saw yesterday, I can't do it, but you can. People want to give you money", the homeless man pleaded.

Sarah exhaled another irritated sigh.

"I said no. Now please, get your crotch out of my face. It smells", Sarah said annoyed, still looking away from his pelvis.

The homeless man scowled down at her.

Suddenly, he slapped Sarah out of nowhere, before leaning down.

"Bitch I want my fucking money. Do you understand me?!", the homeless man said sternly.

Sarah was in shock at being slapped by him, and didn't know how to react.

"Get yo ass up off this bench and go make my money bitch", the homeless man demanded, before grabbing Sarah by her hair, and smacking her several times more.

"Okay, okay, I'll do it! Just stop! Holy shit!", Sarah responded in fear.

The homeless man scoffed.

"Then get the fuck up", the homeless man said, while dragging Sarah up by her hair so she could stand up from the bus seat.

Once she was up, the homeless man took her place on the bus stop seat, before releasing her hair.

"Go make my money", the homeless man demanded.

Sarah looked around.

"There's nobody coming over here", Sarah explained to him.

Just then the homeless man pulled a piece of cardboard out of seemingly nowhere.

"Here bitch. Wave that to traffic", the homeless man demanded while handing Sarah the cardboard.

Sarah took it, before looking down at it.

It read, Homeless. Anything Helps.

"You can't be serious", Sarah said.

"Bitch do I have to get up from this seat and smack yo ass again?!", the homeless man shouted.

"Alright sorry, I'm going. Fuck", Sarah said while exhaling a deep breath.

"I should've took Abraham's offer to get a ride", Sarah thought in anger while walking towards the street.

Just then, Sarah held out the sign to traffic, before looking over at the homeless man.

"How long do I have to do this for?", Sarah asked him.

"However long it takes. Now focus bitch, keep the sign help up high", the homeless man coached her.

Sarah sighed.

"Why am I even doing this? I should just leave", Sarah thought, but as the thought arose, that's when a car quickly pulled over.

"Here honey. You're too pretty to be out here struggling. Get something to eat, my treat", an old woman said before holding out a ten dollar bill from the passenger side, while an old man, more than likely her husband, was driving the car.

"Oh. Thank you", Sarah said, amazed at how fast someone stopped for her.

Sarah took the money, as the car then drove by.

Just then Sarah looked over at the homeless man.

"Here", Sarah said holding out the money.

"Hold it. That was just the first. I want you to make me more money", the homeless man said while smirking, as he sat on the bus bench with his arms wide out, chilling like a boss.

He was happy to have Sarah do the work, while he sat comfortably, watching.

Sarah rolled her eyes as she sighed.

She placed the ten dollar bill into her pocket, before returning back to holding the sign up.

Around ten minutes and $129 later, Sarah saw the bus in the distance.

Sarah looked down at the money she made with a surprised glare.

"Holy shit, I made that pretty quick", Sarah said in shock.

Just then, the homeless man got off the bench & approached her.

"Exactly. See what you can do when you listen to me", the homeless man said, before snatching the money out of her hands.

"Hey! I made that!", Sarah pouted.

Suddenly the homeless man back handed Sarah.

He then started counting the money.

"Here hoe. You can have this", the homeless man said before giving her the ten dollar bill she originally made.

"Why only this?!", Sarah demanded to know, rubbing her cheek after it was just smacked.

"Because bitch, I'm in charge. You make the money for me. I decide how much you get. You understand hoe?", the homeless man explained sternly.

Sarah stared at him a moment, before scoffing.

"Whatever", she said before seeing the bus pulling up to the stop, not wanting to argue with someone as stubborn as him, as she then placed the ten dollar bill now into her bra.

"Tomorrow we'll be back at it. Good work today hoe", the homeless man said before slapping her on the ass, and walking away.

Sarah just stood, with an angered scowl.

"Fucking asshole", she muttered, as the bus stopped in front of her.

The bus doors opened, as Sarah got on.
