If ID Is Required for Everything—Why Not Voting?

What’s the purpose of a law that says you don’t need ID to vote? I need ID to buy beer, cigarettes, get on a plane, or receive a government check. Everyone has an ID. The only reason politicians oppose voter ID is simple: the system benefits them as-is. They don’t want change because they want the fraud. That’s corruption—plain and simple.
