Joshua - Chapters 1-3

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book of the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and it serves as the first book of the Deuteronomistic history (which narrates the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile). It is also the first book in the Prophets (Nevi’im) section of the Tanach, continuing the narrative from the Pentateuch and completing the story of the patriarchal promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
