Australian update plus my take on Venezuela

It’s still school holidays and very hot. I went live for the first time on Australian World News Live, feeling nervous but grateful for Caz’s great hosting and Guru’s support after his surgery. I'm grateful for their support and I hope that Guru has a speedy recovery,
Victorian crime is rising, especially with machete incidents, and the new North East Link tunnels are struggling in the heat.
I’ll also cover Venezuela, including video clips of celebrations and interviews with people who support socialism and communism. I couldn’t include footage of a bombing after the president was taken; 57 people died, including 56 soldiers and one civilian.
In my opinion, things could have been worse. Remember Obama’s 2015 airstrike on an MSF hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, which killed 42 civilians an event that drew little protest.
