Ukraine/Russia Peace Talks.

We are seeing an ongoing and tedious pattern of peace talks that lead nowhere or to further escalation of conflict. Positive talks between Putin and Trump are constantly undermined by Zelensky and the Coalition of the Unwilling. The recent attack on Putin's residence was clearly meant to 'disrupt negotiations and cause Putin to abandon a peaceful path. Predictably Russia has launched a combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine, who's air defence systems are overwhelmed.

To cause further angst, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have signed a declaration pledging that Britain and France are prepared to deploy troops to Ukraine - if a peace deal is reached with Russia. Of course this is rejected by Russia.

What is the US plan? Do we expect anything other than ongoing war? This is something Russia cannot cease and those supporting it - cannot afford.
