Samus arrives at a Federation Research Facility to answer a distress call on the planet Tanamaar. She encounters space pirates attacking the facility and must stop them. During this mission we briefly encounter Sylux, a former Galactic Federation trooper that seems to also be able to control Metroids themselves.
