Replacing the Carbide Runners on my Arctic Cat

Hello and thank you for watching. THis is just a quick video of me replacing the carbide runners on my Arctic Cat snowmobile. The sled was in the trailer and it was pretty tight fittin in there. I used a rolling car jack to lift one side at a time after I took all of the 4 nuts off of each carbide. I then tapped the nuts with a small hammer to get them to the ski. Once the bolt was flush with the ski I used a bolt of the same thickness as the ones on the carbide runners to tap the runner the rest of the way through the ski, trying to tap each one a little bit to get the bolts evenly through the ski holes. Once that was finished I then put the new carbide bolts into the holes and then let the sled down so the weight of the sled would put the bolts all the way through. After that I just tightened all th ebolts back up making sure they were completely on. I then sprayed everything with some Duralube silicone to help with lubrication and rust prevention.
