Dr. Kelley here.
Not being hungry in the morning isn’t a flex—it’s a signal 🚨

When appetite is suppressed, it’s often your nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight. Cortisol stays high, blood sugar gets dysregulated, and hormones like thyroid, estrogen, and progesterone start to suffer.

Skipping breakfast teaches your body one thing: we’re in famine.
And when the body feels under-fueled, it shuts things down.

Waking up hungry is actually a good sign.
Eating within 30–60 minutes—even something small and protein-focused—tells your body, “We’re safe. We’re fed.”

That’s how metabolism, energy, weight, and hormones begin to rebalance.
So yes—eat the breakfast. 🍳✨
