Reloading Tip... Sourcing Low Cost "2nd" Bullets for Plinking and Blasting!

So, a lot of new loaders don't yet know that all manufacturers make small mistakes when making their bullets. Sever mistakes are culled and recycled for safety but minor weight variations, cosmetics blemishes and cannelures rolled in the wrong spot often leave bullets that fall short of the QC standards but are perfectly fine to reload and shoot.

These bullets are often sold as factory 2nds or blemished at discounted prices as much as 50% or more off the normal retail price.

Many on-line retailers offer these specials. The types, sizes and quantities available are very inconsistent as that depends on the mistake the factories are making but its definitely worth checking occasionally.

In this video were going to be looking at the Midway USA sight. I've found they typically will have the largest selections of factory 2nd bullets.
