Why Did God Send a Global Flood

In this brief excerpt from the course, Intro to the Bible and Theology, Dr. Barber discusses the reasons God gives in Genesis 6 for sending a global flood, including that:

"God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Genesis 6:5).

The history of the world, and God's prophecies concerning the future of the world, cannot be accurately understood without accepting the historical facts of the global flood, and the preservation of mankind and of living things aboard our father Noah's Ark.
