The battle in Heaven

If there's a battle in heaven, what do we understand by heaven? What part of heaven is it in heaven where God dwells? There are a few issues which are difficult to work out. But if you're going to try and take it kind of literally, one of the interesting things you have about heaven, Hebrew word is shamim, which is plural. So, heaven means heavens and you have different references to what heavens actually mean.
