Did that fear of saying the wrong thing? Did that college degrees with zero job prospects. Did that taxing drivers with PhDs? Did that families torn apart? Did that exile? Did that never being able to go home? Did that watching your country burn from afar? Did that survivors guilt? Did that reality? Did that this isn't about Jews versus Muslims. This is about people versus dictatorship. It's about a government so afraid of its own people that it needs bullets, prisons and propaganda to survive. My story is Persian Jewish, but what's happening right now is Iran and if this regime stays in power, no voices say Iranian people don't need saving. They do need support.
