The Whisper - Jerry Stinger

In a world filled with constant noise and distractions, many believers struggle to hear God's voice. The story of Elijah on Mount Horeb reveals that God often chooses to communicate through gentle whispers rather than dramatic displays. Whispers require closeness, create focus, and are deeply personal. To hear God's voice, we must reduce the static of daily life, find solitude like Jesus did, and wait expectantly. Our modern world's constant stimulation can prevent us from hearing God's gentle presence in everyday moments. Creating space for quiet communion with God allows us to distinguish His voice from competing noise and live from intimacy rather than distance.
