Raising Your Rod Too High? You're Losing Hook Sets!

Common newbie mistake: Holding the rod tip high when stripping—loses all that distance (and reaction time) to set the hook! Keep it low, watch your line/indicator, and feel those tugs (or turtle nibbles ). Tried this on the Blue River last weekend! How do you set the hook? Comment!
