this gift switches back to a curse quite often
when i didn't see it as such it was way worse
it IS just me
here's yet of another version of what i thought i was over
i thought i understood this too well to undergo it again

i see n hear myself in HD
the tv is surrounding me
it's just part of the culture, everyone has been trained to obey dutifully
put a tv in every room n pop pill after pill
maybe this tube of lipstick will make you feel pretty for a min
everything is instant gratification
i am never satisfied so their tricks don't work the same on me
it feels like i've been studying this people for way longer than a century
each year in public school felt like a decade
i could never run n hide from my insides
i understand everything in my basket
many things were misplaced but luckily i had God's Grace
pills deceive, plants receive
so much to process n digest
wasting time following orders, luckily we didn't get caught up in that for as long as many others
