Happy Tuesday troop!

If you feel “on” all the time like scanning, tense, alert—that’s hypervigilance. Try this sometime: shrink your world to a 3-foot radius. Just what’s right in front of you.

Name a few things you can notice within three feet:
• colors and shapes
• a texture you’re feeling
• a smell in the room
• a sound you can pinpoint
• the feel of your feet on the floor

It’s a simple grounding move that helps pull your brain out of “threat scanning” and back into the present.
