Background:
Detecting and preventing fraud before it occurs is the most cost-efficient way to ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent as intended. The Pandemic Response Accountability Committee—now with expanded authorities from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—along with other partners, plays a critical role preventing fraud.
Hearing Purpose:
This hearing will examine innovative tools used to detect and prevent fraud in federal programs and discuss best practices when using advanced analytics, data sharing, and artificial intelligence for fraud prevention.
