Why do people talk about an invasion of Venezuela?

Venezuela has already been invaded — not by armies, but by criminal and foreign actors.

We have foreign agents operating inside the country. We have organized groups moving freely. We have Colombian guerrilla groups and criminal cartels that have taken control of large portions of the territory.

This is not only about drug trafficking. It also involves human trafficking, prostitution networks, and organized crime.

Venezuela has been turned into a criminal harbor for the Americas.

What sustains the regime is a very powerful and well-funded system of repression.

Where does that funding come from?

From drug trafficking.
From the black market sale of oil.
From human trafficking.

We must cut off those sources.

Once those sources are cut and repression is weakened, the system collapses — because violence and terror are the only things it has left.

That is why we ask the international community to act: to cut these financial lifelines.

Other criminal structures that support the regime are still active, and they have turned Venezuela into a safe haven for their operations across the region.
