Beach Trail

The northeast corner of The Monterey Bay is sheltered from most of the winds, large waves, and fog. This little "do nothing" stretch of beach is great for families with kids. New Brighton State Beach campgrounds, bathrooms, and showers. All the other comforts of "civilization" are nearby, a quick trip to the store and you can re-supply. When the tide is low you can walk south on the sand for hours, just note the tide times. Also, you can walk along the cliff to Capitola Village for shopping, snacks and drinks. #chillbeachvibes
