Robert Jensen is a Dutch radio DJ, TV personality, and columnist. He became well known for his provocative, anti-establishment views, especially his strong criticism of mainstream media, government, COVID policies, and global elites. In recent years he has positioned himself as a free-speech advocate and is often associated with conspiracy-leaning and populist opinions.
Robert Jensen has died. The Dutch radio and TV presenter passed away unexpectedly on Monday, 12 January 2026, at the age of 52. He was hospitalized after feeling unwell over the weekend and died of a heart attack (cardiac arrest), a cause confirmed by his brother Frank Dane and media reports.

Jensen was known for his work on Dutch radio and his own late-night talk show JENSEN!, and later for a strong, controversial media presence including criticism of government policies.

His death came as a shock to colleagues, friends, and followers, who have shared condolences and tributes.
Pim Fortuyn was a Dutch politician and public intellectual in the early 2000s. He stood for strong criticism of mass immigration, especially from Muslim countries, and argued that Islam was incompatible with liberal Dutch values like women’s rights and sexual liberty. He also opposed the political establishment, calling for less bureaucracy and more direct democracy.
He was killed in 2002 by a radical left-wing activist Volkert Van De Graaf , who said he wanted to stop Fortuyn from gaining power, believing Fortuyn’s ideas would harm Muslims and vulnerable groups. The assassination shocked the Netherlands and deeply changed Dutch politics.
