Summary

Ning An'an, a kindhearted clinic nurse from an orphanage, remains optimistic despite a life of hardship. Her warmth eventually reaches Fan Wujiu, a man born into a "hellish" slum in Cantana who grew up taciturn and withdrawn. Through her kindness, Ning An'an manages to pull him from his personal abyss and into the sunlight.
