Here’s a question worth thinking about. 🤔

If the COVID shots were given away for free because they were described as “life-saving,”
then a reasonable question follows.

Why aren’t other life-saving medications free too?

Insulin isn’t free — even though people with diabetes die without it.
Steroid inhalers and rescue inhalers aren’t free — even though asthma attacks can be fatal.
EpiPens aren’t free — despite anaphylaxis being a medical emergency.
Nitroglycerin spray, used to stop chest pain and prevent heart attacks, isn’t free.
Chemotherapy isn’t free — even though cancer is life-threatening.

People rely on these medications every day to stay alive.
Yet many must choose between rent, food, and treatment.

So this isn’t an accusation.
It’s a question.

If “saving lives” justified making one medical product free,
why doesn’t that same logic apply to all the others?

That’s a conversation worth having.
