US Navy Insanity in Japan

Many of you with military experience will be very aware of the "aging" of the US Navy, both in vessels and in force readiness. Carlton Meyer takes us a little deeper than that with his critique of the decision to maintain a large scale presence in Japan with ships that just sit unused. Given the spreading gap between US firepower and that of China, every one of those ships are super easy targets in the event of the opening of hostilities.
