It seems that Raqqa has fallen - in the city center and on its streets, many Arab residents and tribal militia members with flags of the new Syria joyfully shout, celebrate, shoot in the air, and topple symbols of Kurdish power.

As correctly pointed out in the comments, all outwardly visible military power of the SDF in recent years has been maintained solely with the support of the US Air Force and the presence of American bases near the oil fields.
