Combat Operations of Communications Specialists in the 1st Guards Tank Army, Western Grouping of Forces

Communications specialists from the command brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army have showcased their expertise in organizing, repairing, and maintaining secure communication networks using fiber optic, cable lines, satellite, and radio systems. This ensures uninterrupted communication between command posts and frontline units in the special military operation zone.

Reliable communication is crucial for effective command and control. Since the outset of the special military operation, these specialists have provided information exchange around the clock, regardless of weather conditions.

From secure communication hubs, duty personnel conduct constant remote monitoring of the communication infrastructure. Advanced equipment enables immediate identification of faults and locations of cable breaks. Once a disruption is detected, a maintenance team swiftly deploys to the site, employing specialized tools to repair fiber optic cables, adjust antennas, and replace faulty equipment.

Specialized machinery is used for laying fiber optic lines underground, minimizing exposure to enemy fire and damage from enemy vehicles, while other equipment is concealed from hostile fire. Throughout the operation, communications troops have installed hundreds of antennas and laid kilometers of fiber optic lines, enhancing decision-making speed and mission execution.

In the special military operation zone, communications specialists provide all types of communication—secure satellite, radio relay, mobile, and radio—ensuring high-level command continuity and efficiency.
