During those early church days, false teachers had sprung up, questioning core beliefs of Christianity. John began his Gospel by introducing the Word who was God and who became flesh. Then he continued explaining throughout his narrative who Jesus was.
How do you know what your mission in life is? - John the Baptist knew. He knew that he came to prepare the way for Jesus. But what about us? How do we know what our mission in life is? l no matter how young or old we might be, at some point we might need to begin asking questions of ourselves. But the first thing we need to do is: Pray.
