Quality Learning Center in Minneapolis became the center of a national controversy after conservative YouTuber Nick Shirley released a video in late December 2025 alleging widespread fraud in Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). The video highlighted the center’s misspelled sign — “Quality Learing Center” — and showed an empty parking lot, locked doors, and no visible children or staff during a weekday visit, fueling claims that the facility was a fraud.
