Sean McDermott Fired… But Josh Allen Is Never the Problem?

The Buffalo Bills have parted ways with Sean McDermott, and while I’m not shocked by the move given the current climate of the NFL, I don’t believe McDermott was the real problem.

In this video, I break down how Josh Allen is rarely — if ever — held accountable, even after games where turnovers and careless decisions play a major role in Buffalo coming up short. Instead, the organization keeps changing rules, swapping players, and now firing head coaches to accommodate him.

I talk about why it feels like the Bills are operating under a black cloud, where someone always has to take the fall — and it’s never the quarterback. At some point, you have to ask whether the issue is leadership, execution, or something deeper in the organization itself.

I also touch on the idea that Josh Allen may need a fresh start elsewhere, because the cycle in Buffalo keeps repeating: postseason disappointment, blame shifting, and another reset.

This isn’t about disrespect — it’s about patterns, accountability, and the reality of how the business works right now.
