UK Politics remains a messy business. on the domestic front, the government has not really ditched the DIGITAL ID. This digital gulag has come too far and cost too much (billions of dollars and counting) to abandon. They're just call it "voluntary" while they keep building the pipes, the opaque partnerships, and try to fix the major vulnerabilities they're not telling anyone about
