Brits Try Toasted Ravioli for the First Time | This Is Fried?!

We honestly couldn’t believe this one…

Today we’re trying Toasted Ravioli for the first time — a famous American bar food that originated in St. Louis, Missouri, and somehow… it was created completely by accident.

Instead of boiling ravioli, someone dropped it into hot oil — and a legend was born.

In this video, we:
• Make toasted ravioli from scratch
• Learn the story behind this famous bar snack
• Compare American bar food to British pub food
• And of course… taste it for the first time

Crispy, golden ravioli.
A rich, herby marinara sauce.
And a snack that feels made for sharing with a drink while watching the game.

As Brits, this really surprised us — because in the UK, pub food is very different.
Where we’re used to crisps, pies and sausage rolls, American bars go all-in with wings, dips, loaded fries, mozzarella sticks… and now toasted ravioli.

And honestly?
We can see why it’s so popular.

Would you try toasted ravioli?
And what American bar food should we try next?

Thanks for watching and being part of our journey as a British family discovering American food culture.
