Rabbi Avraham Zerbiv, who served over 470 days in the Israeli occupation's military, speaks openly on Israel's Channel 14 about the destruction he has caused in Gaza. Palestinians, he says proudly, ‘They’re returning to nowhere, tens of thousands of families, that no longer have papers, they have no childhood photos, or IDs.’ The audience claps as he describes the level of destruction he wrought on Gaza.

Israeli troops were given orders to raze agricultural land, destroy residential blocks and open fire on anyone who came near them to make way for deadly buffer zones in Gaza, a report by Israeli veterans' group Breaking the Silence (BtS) has revealed.
