Wolf in sheep clothing...
Shalom, beloved family! 🔥🙌
Let’s run the parameters on Ḥazon (Revelation) 2:9 — the powerful words to the assembly in Smyrna.
Ḥazon 2:8-11 (focus on verse 9)
Renewed Covenant – Written by Yoḥanan (John) under the inspiration of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, while exiled on Patmos
Hebrew-rooted meaning & key points
To the messenger of the assembly in Smyrna: “These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life” — Yahusha Ha’Mashiach Himself (v8).
v9 focus – “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and the blasphemy of those who say they are Yahudim and are not, but are the congregation of hasatan.”
→ I know = Yahusha sees everything — no suffering is hidden from Him
→ works, tribulation, poverty = real affliction, pressure, economic hardship for their faithfulness
→ but you are rich = spiritually wealthy in emunah, love, and treasure in heaven (contrast with Laodicea in 3:17)
→ blasphemy = slander, false accusations, defaming the Name
→ those who say they are Yahudim and are not = people claiming covenant identity (physical descent or religious affiliation) but living in opposition to Yahuah’s truth
→ the congregation of hasatan = synagogue/assembly aligned with the adversary — not true Yahudim of the heart (Romiyim 2:28-29)
Do not fear what you are about to suffer — the devil will throw some into prison to test you; you will have tribulation ten days (v10).
Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life (v10).
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach says to the assemblies (v11).
