Security forces thwarted a terrorist attack in Ufa planned by two citizens of a Central Asian country.

The migrants were planning to attack a police station. They acquired automatic weapons and components for an explosive device, but were unable to assemble the bomb.

The leader of the terrorist cell resisted and was killed. His accomplice was detained, and symbols of an international terrorist organization banned in Russia were found on them.
