**Recipe & Ingredients:**

* Wash the potatoes thoroughly; there’s no need to peel them.
* Boil the potatoes for 20–30 minutes depending on their size, and be sure to salt the water.
* Cut them as shown.
* Grease a pan with olive oil (or vegetable oil).
* Fry over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring regularly.
* Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic.
* Add salt and spices to taste.
* Dill gives a special flavor—add it when everything is almost done.

**Fish (ready in 10 minutes):**

* Salt the salmon steak and season to taste; fry for 3 minutes.
* Turn it over and spread mustard on the other side.
* Fry over medium heat for 3 minutes with a lid on.
* Turn once more and fry for another 3 minutes—done.
