Blood West, Walkthrough part 1

So, I got this game for free on the Epic Store.
Sometimes you can find real gems like this one. An old-style game that somehow reminds me of Doom, if it had visual upgrades to modern standards. Oddly enough, Half-Life comes to mind while playing the game as well. Feels like a mix of both at times. The presentation of the game is amazing. Shoot and loot, try to get out of it all, survive. Yet there is no mission-driven objective that forces you to follow a certain path. Once you get back on your feet, you can go in multiple directions. Giving the game some freedom from the very start.
The setting of fighting the undead, infected, or simply monsters, is a nice twist to standard westerns, where you stick to realness and fight other cowboys. But I do enjoy classic Call of Juarez or Red Dead series as much as the other guy!
