Turkish President Erdoğan:

Last year, on March 10, an agreement was signed with the structure known as the SDF, which held territories in northern and eastern Syria.

According to this agreement, the SDF were supposed to lay down their arms and hand over the areas they controlled to the Syrian government.

However, the SDF did not take any positive steps towards integration within the specified timeline.

The SDF continued to oppress citizens in the territories they held and to carry out attacks against political and military targets outside those areas.

Im letzten Jahr, am 10. März, wurde ein Abkommen mit der als SDF bekannten Struktur unterzeichnet, die Gebiete im Norden und Osten Syriens kontrollierte.

Laut diesem Abkommen sollten die SDF ihre Waffen niederlegen und die von ihnen kontrollierten Gebiete an die syrische Regierung übergeben.

Allerdings unternahmen die SDF keine positiven Schritte zur Integration innerhalb des festgelegten Zeitrahmens.

Die SDF fuhren fort, Bürger in den von ihnen kontrollierten Gebieten zu unterdrücken und Angriffe auf politische und militärische Ziele außerhalb dieser Gebiete durchzuführen.
