Moral Relativism, The Ruling Class, NPC's & 'The Meta'

What do values, morality, and culture all have in common? They are all shaped by and disseminated from atop the elite power structures—operating instructions handed down from the rulers to the ruled. In this video we’ll explore the ways in which elite power shapes the cultural and moral landscape of the societies that they govern. Ultimately, for the powerful—we could propose, they are ideologically agnostic—the utility of any given ideology is dictated by the times and in the timeless pursuit of wealth, power, and control. However, for the powerless masses morality is something important and to be taken seriously—through morality, they hope to find a stable and peaceful life—lacking resources and power, they must cling desperately to moral narratives.
