Return to Silent Hill PreCaution - Movie Preview

Who could've known it would take a series renaissance, a gaming remake, and a passionate director to at long last adapt Silent Hill 2. The game itself is undoubtedly the greatest sequel of the franchise and arguably the best Survival Horror game. While the jury is still out on the sequel to the original movie, your Horror Host Inkarnate is here to at least provide a PreCaution before I render verdict. A love letter from his wife sees James Sunderland packing his bags for a trip to a tourist destination to meet her. There are just two problems, firstly, his wife is deceased so this letter is from beyond the grave. Secondly, this tourist town just so happens to be Silent Hill. We're in for a descent into madness on this one. This remote resort town brings your deepest, darkest fears, anxiety, repression, and trauma billowing to the surface of its smokey asphalt town, shattering both the concrete and your mind. Think of it as Wonderland meets Dante's Inferno. Unbeknownst to James, he's got a few skeletons in his closet and the town is dying for a reunion. Will the film live up to the legacy of the game, the original movie, and the franchise? Stay Tuned.
