A candidate has every right to challenge election results, as President Trump did in 2020. Any candidate may legally question an election, claim it was stolen, or pursue alternate slates of electors - none of these actions are criminal. Jack Smith’s criminal prosecution of Trump was a major assault on the Constitution and the Republic.
