Please join us as we walk through a critical development in the EI case and what it means for those who were denied benefits and felt the impact firsthand.

The Federal Court has set the hearing for February 25, 2026. While this matter was originally scheduled for a full-day hearing, the Crown moved to significantly reduce the time. The Court has now limited the hearing to two hours per side, despite the scope of the application, the volume of evidence, and the complexity of the Crown's response.

This is not a minor or technical issue. The application is intensive and goes directly to how EI decisions were made and applied. Shortening a full-day hearing to a compressed window raises real concerns about whether the merits can be fully and fairly addressed.

Matthew will be joining us tonight to share all the "goings on" since he last met with us and the shenanigans that have ensued. He will also outline where support is needed from all of us as this case moves forward.

If EI decisions affected you, or someone you know, this conversation matters.

This is case about process, accountability, and justice for everyone who was impacted by these unlawful decisions to deny people their rightful benefits.
