Outlaw Midgets at I-55

A National career race at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is a bit bumpy, but not bad. There is plenty of room for maneuverability around traffic, but the AI may drift up on the straights and squeeze you into the wall at times. The track starts off slick below the cushion after qualifying, but does not drop much speed. I find running just above the bottom fastest all night.

This Showcase race had 3 cautions. All cautions were caused by AI on AI contact. Early in the race I tried squeezing the leader down on entry, but he didn't budge and I ended up hopping his right rear with my left rear. As I didn't flip, I kept my foot in it to keep it off the wall and it paid off. No other AI contact and scraped the wall twice in the last couple laps. Generally traffic navigation was good. I wasn't able to track down the leader in the Dash, so ended up starting 2nd. Overall a good race.
