SHOT Show 2026 in Las Vegas (Jan 20–23 at the Venetian Expo + Caesars Forum), and I’m at the BUL Armory booth checking out two head-turners: the BUL 1911 SOF and the BUL SAS2 TAC Comp — plus the show-floor talk you actually want: what they’re built for, who they’re for, and what matters when you’re not standing under convention-center lighting.

What I’m putting eyes on:
BUL 1911 SOF — 4.25" bull barrel, optics-ready (RMR setup), and a “carry-friendly 1911” direction that a lot of people have been asking for.
BUL SAS2 TAC Comp — comped/ported performance focus with BUL’s modern double-stack platform and their optics system, built for folks who want flatter shooting without playing the aftermarket lottery.
