Walmart caught lying on meat weight labels

They are thieving POS’s lying about the weight of meat. Make sure you double check that shìt. Walmart agreed to a major class-action settlement over weighted products, including meat.
A lawsuit alleged Walmart overcharged customers by mislabeling weights on meat, seafood, poultry, pork and other sold-by-weight items, meaning consumers paid more than the price advertised based on weight. Walmart agreed to settle that case.

In August 2025, multiple counties sued Walmart under consumer protection laws, arguing that items with incorrect weights and prices were sold at higher prices than posted. A nationwide class action settled for ~$45 million (2024) for mislabeling of weighed goods, including meat.
