JESUS, HELP ME BE MORE LIKE YOU!

3 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!! I'm sitting here in my apartment right now, looking outside my window, and seeing this insane snowstorm, I think about how grateful I am that I'm in a safe, warm, and dry place. I especially think of our first responders as they're out there today, and all those who are homeless and out in the cold, and my heart breaks for them. I'm also deeply thinking about this morning scripture, and asking myself these questions from this morning's devotional, in particular this first question, and I have to share it tonight. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that God will speak to you and challenge your heart with it.

In what way do you long to be like Jesus?

I know. Interesting question, right? I'm thinking about that right now, and I can't help but believe just how important it is, that we are representing God with honor and integrity in this world, because we are the only example of Jesus that this lost world sees. We're supposed to be walking examples of Jesus Christ, but we don't often act like do we.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me on this issue of being more like Jesus, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, you will listen to carefully. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges your heart, but also motivates you to want to be more like Jesus.

How can you cooperate with His work in your life?

I pray that you’ll examine your hearts and ask God to show you areas in your life, where you need to be more like His Son Jesus, and ask Him to transform it. Ask God to show you areas in your life, that need work and let Him work on you! We can't change on our own, but when we submit ourselves to God, remembering that He is the Potter, while we’re the clay, and allow Him to mold, shape, and design us into who He wants us to be, the finished product will be one that is beautiful and honoring to Him. It may be a slow arduous journey, and it's definitely not gonna happen overnight, but praise God that Jesus specializes in providing exactly what we need to be able to do so. Just let God transform you to be more like Him!
