Episode 1503: How to read the scriptures from God's perspective.

Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we continue to answer the question, does God chose some for heaven and chose others for hell?

In order to get a proper understanding of this we all must first understand the Will and Purposes of the Most High God as presented to us in the scriptures. It would be a good tasks for us all to go through the scriptures and record every passage that tells us unequivocally what are the will and purposes of God. There are quite a few that does.

The scriptures presents to us three types of God's will.

1. God's Sovereign Will which are His decrees
2. God's Preceptive Will which are His desires
3. God's Permissive Will which are His allowances

To rehearse, God has decrees, God has desires, God has allowances. These are all for God's Sovereign will and purposes. They have absolutely nothing to do with us nor are they for us.

19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.

Daniel 4:17 (NKJV) 17 ‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, and the sentence by the word of the holy ones, IN ORDER THAT THE LIVING MAY KNOW THAT THE MOST HIGH RULES IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN, AND GIVES IT TO WHOMEVER HE WILL, AND SETS OVER IT THE LOWEST OF MEN.

Friend, are you listening to what the LORD God has declared concerning Himself or do you still believe there is such a thing called free will?

When conducting a proper expository study of the word of God one must take into account the three wills of God. Substituting one for the other will lead to confusion and a distortion of the truth. It will bring you to a false conclusion. Don't do that please.
