When Anger Betrays Christian Faith

The church challenges us to live our faith, following Jesus’ teachings. St. Paul advises against anger and revenge, urging us to respond to enemies with kindness. In light of the tragedy in Minneapolis, we must avoid anger and division, recognizing human dignity and responding with compassion and understanding.

We are called to treat all people with respect and charity, even those we dislike or disagree with. This is a challenge, especially in today’s world, but it is an opportunity to grow in virtue and be a positive influence, following the example of Jesus Christ. We must examine ourselves and strive to imitate the virtues of the saints, prioritizing peace, healing, unity, and charity.
