Explosive allegations surrounding the EB-5 visa program claim it was systematically exploited to funnel Chinese Communist Party–linked money into Democratic political networks tied to Hillary Clinton. By January 2026, the operation—described by investigators as a “Red-Green Exchange”—was reportedly declassified following directives from Donald Trump. The Trump administration has since launched a sweeping counter-operation, auditing past EB-5 visas using forensic and AI-driven “source of funds” reviews.
