January 26, 2026 Big Four Building at Stampede Grounds.

Started the evening at about 4:30. I wanted to get the energy of the people that were coming to sign the petition and coming for the speakers at 7 pm.
Lots of volunteers. Lots of happy people. Lots of hopeful people. Finally.
I saw babies, young and old. I hate to even point this out, but I saw different ethnicities.
It was cold outside, but there were about 80 people lined up to get into the speaking portion at about 5:00.
I saw hope and determination in families, just hoping to make their homes right. Hoping to give their children a chance at a home and a family.
After the dark times, it was good to see people not listening to the Jason Kenneys or the traitor rhetoric coming from the lying mainstream media.
The name calling from the likes of Justin Trudeau has worn thin and now doesn't seem to affect Albertans like it did.
I spoke to people that were new to this idea and many who are leaders in this area.
