2026: DC's Most Important Year Yet

Let's be honest, although DC's experiencing a slight resurgency after a decently successful 2025, they are nowhere near being in the clear. As it stands, 2026 is shaping up to be one of DC's most important years to date. Not only are there no projects by James Gunn, but there also isn't any projects focused around any major DC properties (except for maybe Lanterns).

If you ask me, despite their very unorthodox release schedule, I think DC will end up sticking the landing. And man, we need them to!

This video has defiantly been a long time coming. I originally planned to have this version of the video come out around late November/early December. But I've also been trying to make a video talking about, well, the current state of DC for probably the last year now. So I am finally glad to have this out. Also I wanted to make sure I had a major DC video before I do a Marvel one. Kinda petty but I thought it was right.

And if you did enjoy this video and want to see me talk more about comic book stuff, please let me know as I would love to do more content about this! I do have one other comic related video scheduled for May, but beyond that, I just kinda wanna see what you all think. Also, I know this video's kind of a mix between my regular editing style and just what everyone else who talks about comic book media does, so if you have any advice on what to improve production wise I would love to hear it. Part of it is definitely my editing software but I'm probably gonna upgrade a lot of that very soon.
