This is absolutely heartbreaking..

In Pierce County, Washington, a man and his dog were involved in a serious incident while walking near a local grocery store. A suspect approached the victim and reportedly inquired about his religious beliefs before allegedly attacking both the man and his pet. Authorities report that the victim identified as a Christian shortly before the situation escalated into a violent encounter.

Local deputies located the suspect in a nearby backyard where he was reportedly armed with multiple knives and resisting arrest. The confrontation reportedly resulted in a fatal tragedy after the suspect made movements toward the officers. Both the victim and his dog were transported to medical facilities for emergency treatment following the initial assault.
